Not a very snappy title, is it? We visited Donington to watch our friend Michael Downing racing for the first time in the Caterham graduates series. As an added bonus we found BMWs slogging it out in a one marque series (no pics, sorry) and enjoyed some classic touring car racing including the cars you see here. The whole thing was televised, albeit on some obscure channel, but there is no substitute for watching the cars up close. The Caterhams were crackers, as always, with Mr P coming home in one piece and smiling. The classic touring cars looked so mis-matched but were surprisingly close on track. The white Jaguar XJ you see here being one of our favourites, it was louder than the DHL Boeings taking off from East Midlands airport nearby.
