Back in May 2018 we joined the world famous London to Brighton Mini Run, a convoy of Issigonis’s greatest creations that chugs its way 53-miles southwards from Crystal Palace to the balmy coastal assembly point on Madeira Drive. I’d wanted to do it for donkey’s years, and for the first printed issue of MotorPunk Magazine I finally did … although not in the classic motor I’d originally intended. Why not? Well It’s a long story involving mechanical gremlins, insurmountable apathy and a helicopter covered in jizz. Intrigued? I bet you are.
