What a glorious day! Sadly, though, not that many pictures this month as I was stuck abroad and MotorPunk’s other photographers were taking industrial action. Or something. Anyway, there was a lovely line-up in the sunshine at Curborough for our rescheduled May sprint event, some familiar faces aiming to better their times and some new ones too. I’m not sure I’ve seen the Daihatsu Copen here before and I’m definitely sure I’ve never seen one on track anywhere, thanks Dan for bringing it along. The variety of cars on track and in the paddock is part of the appeal here, all trying to improve on their own lap-times and aiming to be the most improved for their class.

Paul was back in his Westfield, a quick car, particularly on a warm, dry day like this. The yellow MX-5 you see belongs to Ben and is Supercharged, so I’m told. Ross’s white R26 looked like fun, FWD goes well round these ‘ere parts. Ben A was back and as regular readers will now expect, was in yet another car, this time a Fiesta. If our records are correct, he has brought a different car to every event this year, he’s either killing them each month or is just addicted to buying new and increaingly ropey hatchbacks. We admire this madness and look forward to our next event, June 18th, perhaps we’ll see you there. Call Dan Morris to book on 07402 728337.

Thanks to Andy W for help with the pics. None of his blue Golf though, ha!
