Rich Duisberg

Rich's drivel regularly appears in Practical Performance Car and GT Porsche magazines. He has also written for Classic & Sportscar, MogMag, Classic Performance and Retro, Banzai, Evo, and Modern Mini. He also did a book no-one bought. His hungover fizzog also often appears on CBS’s Carfection channel enthusing about historic motoring. Le Mans winner Derek Bell once refused to get in Rich's Morgan Three Wheeler with him at the wheel. Currently amongst the detritus in his garage is a 1972 Fiat 500 Abarth, a fat BMW and a Lotus Elise. Previous machinery includes a Porsche 968, an Alfa GTV V6 and a dreadful Sinclair C5. He also owns a vintage Royal Enfield pushbike.

1979 was an otherwise unremarkable year for car design. European car of the year was the Chrysler Horizon, a car so dull we had to google to remember what it was. Fortunately, to offset such motoring tedium,...

Pocketmoney exotic spotted: Fiat Coupé

CarClub 18-30 - The Cars, Out & About
Lamenting the loss of my red GTV I happened upon an example of its sibling, the Fiat Coupé, in a place called Frog Island. Despite its unusual name, Frog Island is a rather grey place and perhaps that dull...

I blame Nicole Scherzinger. Watching the vacuous, androgynous former-Hamilton-squeeze hilariously falling over and getting yoghurt on her nose, again, was the final straw. I’d only just recovered from the...

The earth’s circumference is 24901 miles, so as I click over the same distance travelled, in a single year, on a set of Falken ZIEX ZE310 ECORUN (their shouty caps, not mine), I thought I’d share a quick...

Back in 1995, I bought and read a particular copy of Car magazine. On the front cover was a picture of a Ferrari 512 in the desert. The feature was written by a chap called Richard Bremner and told the story...

Spotted; A Citroen H van, AKA the Hipsters Honeypot

Rich Duisberg
Articles, Seventies cars
Made from wrinkly tin from ‘47 to ‘81, the H van should really be a MotorPunk favourite. It has DS running gear and 2CV headlamps. If it were an animal it would be a French Bulldog made out of wet...

Malta is a stick of Mediterranean rock with the word Britain running right through it. That’s what you might read in lazier publications than this. This red-hot, jaggy lump of limestone has had many more...

As MotorPunk focusses it’s bleary peepers on the ‘seventies (a decade we consider both the zenith and nadir in motoring history) we’ll share snaps of daily driven ‘seventies machinery we spot on our...

Happy New Year, one and all. There's some motoring stuff in the pipeline (honest!) but here's something a bit different for those wondering what to spend those Amazon gift vouchers on; "Hands Up!" is a black...
